I really enjoyed the Boxing Day game. We set out defend the lead, and I don't recall any real efforts from Reading other than the post rattler. If it has raised confidence, and it should have done, then the win, the clean sheet and the way we defended was worth it.

Alf is a good finisher but needs a target man to play off to be at his most effective and we do not have one in today's squad Riviera.

I agree with Sarah - yeah he was a good athlete but a crap footballer who was part of our downfall - just not good enough as a footballer and hasnt proved himself except at the lowest levels - should have grasped his chance if he was good enough

At this level ALF is a proven goalscorer...Siggy is the opposite.

not saying siggy is same class as vardy but i would like to see him. i think he can be a difference now

Siggy has ability and pace. He is now fully fit for the first time in ages and needs a run of games. He has to be better than Edwards Sarah.
