This debate on Wolves greatest player is very interesting but there was more than one for sure if you only mention Peter Broadbent, The Doog, Dave Wagstaffe, Peter Knowles, Ron Flowers, Billy Wright and Bully to name but a few. They were all great players who gave us big pleasure wearing the Gold and Black colours.

Best player for wolves at the moment is Mason for scoring

I remember a Wolves flag at the 1974 league Cup Final against Man City. It read "City, prepare to meet thy Doog!" Priceless.

Have to agree about Peter Broadbent - had the pleasure of meeting him at the Mol with my granddad in the early 60's a really nice bloke and a truly fantastic footballer.

Has to be the Doog ... I was there when he scored his 200th league goal.
