We haven't bought well in recent times under the current regime. Clusters of mediocre mid-field players, come wingers, all of whom fall short of what we need. Interestingly, Tommy Rowe is a star for Scunthorpe and previously for Peterborough yet KJ can't get the best out of him. We have bought or loaned midfielders like Graham, Ojo, Byrne, Wallace, Saville all of whom have no track record at this level. Selling Stearman remains in my view a huge mistake and whilst we were unlucky to lose Dicko attempts if any to address the issue have clearly failed. All of this whilst dispensing of Ikeme's services after being so brilliant since Hennessy's departure a couple of seasons ago. If we are to believe reports we nearly signed some good players such a Chris Woods, Callum Wilson for example but they chose to join other teams, why? All of this at least raises questions on the capabilities of our scouting and management capabilities.

Hope to see Coady play his heart out today, as I thought Price was brilliant when he was starting and I think he's unlucky to be benched
